Hot water was a hassle, but the cozy vibe made it worthwhile.

Relatively low-priced and close to Sugarloaf ski area.
The hot water was nearly nonexistent. we had to wait unjustifiably long every time. There was also no coffee resupply after the first night, which is unheard of. To add insult to injury, the bathroom setup was dangerous for older folks, with major steps just waiting for accidents to happen.

absolutely horrid experience, really! The hot water was non-existent the first day, but magically appeared once the owner showed up! Also, the bathroom setup is quite dangerous for anyone over fifty. I expected at least a complimentary coffee on day two, but no! Overall, I almost gave them a good review—but simply couldn’t.

Loved mingling with the friendly thru-hikers at the campfire—what great storytelling! My cozy room was spotless and surprisingly comfortable, unexpected perks like blackout curtains were a bonus!
But dear, I’d just like to know why I had to play ‘guess where the bathrooms are’ in the dark. Coin-operated showers? Who knew I’d need a currency exchange for a rinse!

The access to the AT trail drew an eclectic mix of hikers, making evenings around the bonfire a highlight as we swapped stories. The communal kitchen fostered a friendly atmosphere, ideal for mingling with others over breakfast. The bed was a welcome relief after our hikes, but the lack of included toiletries was a downside. Additionally, some kitchen items were missing, which slightly impacted our cooking experience. On a positive note, the blackout curtains truly enhanced our comfort during the night.
